Astronomische Gesellschaft Katalog

(AGK)
(19th/20th century astrometric catalog)

The Astronomische Gesellschaft Katalog is a 19th/20th century astrometric catalog of on the order of 200,000 stars, produced by the Astronomische Gesellschaft, a German astronomy society. The original version was begun in the 19th century and two subsequent versions have been produced, the three designated AGK1, AGK2, and AGK3, the latter published in 1975. Their positions are tied to those of a shorter list of 20,000+ reference stars, designated AGKR.
