(1970s balloon-based ultraviolet astronomy mission)
BUSS (for Balloon-borne Ultraviolet Stellar Spectrograph)
was a series of two balloon-based airborne ultraviolet
spectrographs which were flown several times in the 1970s
with a 40 cm telescope, to collect spectra of stars.
The project was a collaboration including NASA
and Netherlands astronomers.
