(code to model the affect of gas and plasma on spectra)

Cloudy (or CLOUDY) is a Code to model the effect of gas and Plasma on spectra, in particular, the addition of Emission Lines. It is used to model gas between stars, e.g., Interstellar Medium, Intergalactic Medium, Intracluster Medium, Photospheres, sources of Electromagnetic Radiation such as Accretion Disks and Active Galactic Nuclei, and the effect intervening clouds (e.g., HI Regions).
