COSMOSOMAS
(Cosmological Structures On Medium Angular Scales)
(1990s-2000s microwave survey)
COSMOSOMAS
(for Cosmological Structures On Medium Angular Scales)
was a late-1990s-early-2000s microwave survey
aiming at studying CMB anisotropies and
diffuse galactic microwave emission.
It utilized two purpose-built telescopes,
COSMO15 and COSMO11. It aimed for
1-degree angular resolution covering
20 degrees declination.
It detected spinning dust emission.
