(1960s survey of northern-hemisphere radio sources)
In the 1960s, the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory
in British Columbia, Canada carried out a
survey of the northern sky
at 1420 MHz, producing a catalog of 615 radio sources,
now referenced with the designator prefix DA.
The instrument was the
Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory 25.6m Telescope
(aka 26-Meter Telescope, now called the John A. Galt Telescope).
