Dall-Kirkham telescope

(type of reflecting telescope)

A Dall-Kirkham telescope is a reflector telescope with a concave elliptical primary mirror and a convex spherical secondary. They are easier to grind than a Cassegrain reflector or Ritchey-Chrétien telescope, a tradeoff that motivates the design for some amateur telescopes.
