Deep Multicolor Survey
(DMS)
(1990s optical and infrared deep survey)
The Deep Multicolor Survey is a 1990s photometric
survey carried out with the Mayall 4m Telescope, using
a six-passband system designed to reveal redshifts. Eleven
deep fields totaling roughly three fourths of a square degree
were surveyed. Discoveries include quasars, galaxies, and
red dwarfs.
