(Enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarization)

The mission, eXTP (for Enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarization) is a X-ray space telescope plan that replaced China's earlier XTP plan, but this time collaborating with a European consortium. The overall plan is for a 2027 launch for a 5-10 year mission. The plan is for multiple independent instruments of four types:
