IPAC (for Infrared Processing and Analysis Center)
is a Caltech-based NASA center for the science of infrared astronomy.
It was formed to archive and offer IRAS data, its archive later
expanded to include infrared data from other missions and
surveys, including ISO, 2MASS,
WIRE, and UVUDF.
It contributes to the development of future infrared observation
projects including Euclid, VRO, TMT, and Roman Space Telescope.
It also hosts the NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database (NED).
