(network of automated telescopes to identify transients)

The MASTER Robotic Net of telescopes (or MASTER Global Robotic Telescopes Net, MASTER for Mobile Astronomical System of Telescope Robot) is an automated network of telescopes programmed to catch and identify for transients, which has been operation since 2002, a Russian effort. It uncovers and reports transients and also automatically responds to received reports of transients such as gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), GW detections, and neutrino bursts. It consists of a number of telescopes in Russia plus a few in Europe, Africa, and America.
