Ohio Radio Survey

(Ohio Sky Survey)
(1960s radio survey by Ohio State University)

The Ohio Radio Survey is a Radio Astronomical Survey from the 1960s performed by Ohio State University using their Ohio Statue University Radio Observatory (OSURO, aka, Big Ear).

The prefixes OA, OB, etc., were coined to designate the Radio Sources, but substitutes, OHIO A, OHIO B, etc., have since been adopted as more specific. "A" indicates the original list, and "B" through "Z" (skipping "O") for a subsequent, second list, the letter indicating the hour of Right Ascension: B for 1, C for 2, etc.
