Ohio Radio Survey

The Ohio Radio Survey (aka Ohio Sky Survey or OSS) is a radio survey from the 1960s performed by Ohio State University using their Ohio State University Radio Observatory (OSURO, aka, Big Ear). The prefixes OA, OB, etc., were coined to designate the radio sources, but substitutes, OHIO A, OHIO B, etc., have since been adopted as more specific. "A" indicates the original list, and "B" through "Z" (skipping "O") all for a second list, the letter indicating the angular hour of right ascension: B for 1, C for 2, etc.
