Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex (or Ophiuchus Molecular Cloud)
is a dark nebula a degree south of the star
Rho Ophiuchi in the constellation Ophiuchus.
It is a star-forming region about 140 parsecs from here.
Characteristics:
The designator prefix ROX, used for some stars within the
cloud complex, stands for Rho Ophiuchi X-ray source,
and ROXs for the optical counterpart to such a source.
