SGR J1745-2900
(GC magnetar, galactic center magnetar, PSR J1745-2900)
(magnetar orbiting the Milky Way SMBH)
SGR J1745-2900 is a magnetar discovered in 2013
orbiting Sagittarius A*, the
supermassive black hole (SMBH) in the Milky-Way galactic center.
It is thought to be around 0.1 pc from Sagittarius A*,
it has a pulsar period of 3.76 seconds,
and has a magnetic field of 1014 G.
