SOAR

SOAR, the Southern Astrophysical Research Telescope, is a 4.1 meter reflector telescope at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory, Chile which began operation in 2005/2006. Visible light instruments:

• SOI - SOAR Optical Imager.
• SAM - SOAR Adaptive optics Module.
• HRCam - SOAR High Resolution Camera.
• Goodman HST - Goodman High Throughput Spectrograph.
• SAM - SOAR Fabry-Pérot Module.
• SIFS - SOAR Integral Field Spectrograph.

Infrared instruments:

• SPARTAN - Near-IR Camera.
• TripleSpec 4.1.

• OSIRIS - Ohio State Infrared Imager/Spectrograph.
