Sagittarius Window Eclipsing Extrasolar Planet Search

(SWEEPS)
(transit search using HST time)

The Sagittarius Window Eclipsing Extrasolar Planet Search (SWEEPS) was a survey aimed at finding transients indicating extra-solar planet transits, using HST ACS observation time in 2006 over a portion of Baade's Window. It observed 180,000 stars in the galactic bulge over seven days and found 16 planets.
