BSE

BSE (for Binary Star Evolution) is a code to model the stellar evolution of a binary star. I believe it incorporates stellar evolution code named SSE (for Single Star Evolution) to handle aspects of stellar evolution not affected by the binary companion.

Note that the abbreviation BSE is also used in planetary science for bulk silicate ea­rth.
