GOALS (for Great Observatories All-Sky LIRG Survey) is an astronomical survey that compiled existing data on a sample of over 200 luminous infrared galaxies selected from an IRAS survey, adding data from new observations. It incorporates data gathered from observations by Spitzer, Chandra, HST, GALEX, and ground-based telescopes (e.g., to include radio data).
Among the followups is GOALS-JWST, observing some of the GOALS sample using the James Webb Space Telescope.
