heliopause
(boundary between solar wind and the interstellar medium)
The heliopause is the boundary between the solar wind
and the interstellar medium, i.e., where their pressure balances.
The Voyager spacecraft have apparently reached it, on the
order of 120 AU from the Sun,
Voyager 1 in 2012 and Voyager 2 in 2018.
(astrophysics,solar system,solar wind)
