(K-band Multi-object Spectrograph)

KMOS (for K band Multi-object Spectrograph) is a spectrograph aimed at 0.8 to 2.5 micron wavelengths (near infrared) on the European Southern Observatory Very Large Telescope. It is capable of simultaneously capturing spectra from 24 locations on the telescope's focal plane.
