(2-micron spectrograph on ESO VLT)

KMOS (for K-band Multi-object Spectrograph) is a spectrograph covering 0.8 to 2.5 micron wavelengths (near infrared) on the European Southern Observatory Very Large Telescope (ESO VLT). It is capable of simultaneously capturing spectra from 24 locations on the telescope's focal plane.
