Local Void

(void next to the Local Group)

The Local Void is a void adjacent to the Local Group. Its diameter is indeterminate, 60 Mpc being one cited value. The Local Group is part of the Local Sheet, adjacent to the void.

Note that the term Local Hole has been coined for a (different) larger-scale void that includes the Local Void, the Local Group, and surroundings.
