MAPS (for Molecules with ALMA at Planet-forming Scales) is an Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) survey of five selected protoplanetary disks, aiming to distinguish the locations of the various constituents (such as various molecules) within each disk. ALMA is capable of producing images of such disks with substantial detail, and through choice of frequencies that are transparent to certain constituents and show spectral lines of others, can provide some clues to the constituents over all three dimensions, including likely pressures and temperatures, all of interest regarding planet formation. The disks are HD 163296, MWC 480, IM Lup, GM Aur, and AS 209.
