MWC 758
(HD 36112)
(protostar with spiral disk)
MWC 758 (HD 36112) is a protostar, specifically a Herbig AeBe star.
It has a protoplanetary disk of research-interest because it
is asymmetric and shows a spiral structure, one theory being that
an extra-solar planet is triggering these features, which could
be an example of planet formation. Characteristics:
(star,protostar,disk)
