NEOSSat

(Near-Earth Object Surveillance Satellite, NESS, Near Earth Space Surveillance)
(small spacecraft tracking NEOs)

NEOSSat (for Near-Earth Object Surveillance Satellite) is a small (15 cm aperture) Canadian (CSA) space telescope, largely modeled after the MOST satellite, but with the mission of discovering and tracking near-Earth objects (a mission termed NESS for Near Earth Space Surveillance, which was an earlier name for the satellite), along with a second mission to survey Earth satellites for security purposes (termed HEOSS, for High Earth Orbit Space Surveillance). NEOSSat was launched in 2013 and is still in operation as of 2024.
