Spectroscopic Properties of Cool Stars
(SPOCS)
(analysis of spectroscopic data of 7000+ M and L stars)
Spectroscopic Properties of Cool Stars (SPOCS)
is an astronomical survey of spectrography of
a set of F, G, and K-type stars that were
used in extra-solar planet search efforts.
The goal was stellar parameter determination.
Some or all the effort was in-depth analysis of existing data from
the searches, carried out in 2007.
Later, analogous effort was carried out for subsequent exoplanet searches.
