(HI Parkes All Sky Survey)
(HI survey carried out 1997 to 2002)

HIPASS (for HI Parkes All Sky Survey) was an astronomical survey if HI emissions (21-cm line) throughout the celestial sphere basically, to the point that Parkes Observatory can see, i.e., about 70% of the sky. Discoveries include galaxies and HI regions. Among the astronomical catalogs produced, of galaxies identified by their HI emissions:
