(IRAM 30m Millimeter Radio Telescope)
(millimeter-range radio telescope in Sierra Nevada, Spain)
The IRAM 30m Telescope
(IRAM 30m Millimeter Radio Telescope)
is a millimeter-range radio telescope operated
by Institut de radioastronomie millimétrique in on Sierra Nevada in Spain.
It is the second largest single-dish millimeter-range telescope,
after the Large Millimeter Telescope (LMT).
Among the past/present instruments:
- MAMBO "Max-Planck-Millimeter-Bolometer Array" and MAMBO2.
- GISMO "Goddard IRAM Superconducting Two Millimeter Camera".
- EMIR "Eight Mixer Receiver".
- HERA "Heterodyne Receiver Array".
- NIKA "New Iram KID Array" and NIKA2.
