Kitt Peak National Observatory (KPNO) in Arizona is one of two National Optical Astronomy Observatory (NOAO) sites, the other being Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO). It hosts more than ten telescopes, including the Mayall 4m Telescope and the WIYN 3.5m Telescope, the McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope, and the KPNO 2.1 m Telescope.
